Poppy’s is our family-run bagel shop, rooted in Uptown Waterloo and blooming with personality. We’re here for your on-the-go breakfast, spontaneous lunch break and take-home snack.
From our King Street shop to our Conestoga Mall counter, we bring the same love for our community and our oven-to-table approach. There’s a hole to fill for everyone at Poppy’s.

Our mission is to bring quality, sustainable, hand-rolled bagels to the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities. We strive to source locally and fill our bagels with flavours that inspire and excite us.
Every bagel is rolled by hand, with an oven-to-table motto that puts freshness first. Local ingredients, worldwide flavour. Behold the holey grail.
Inspired by Montreal, Made in Waterloo
Our Montreal-style bagels are made fresh in Waterloo Region, with a good chew and plenty of flavour.
For a taste of what we do, try The Lox: salmon, red onion, pickled red onion, capers, dill, and schmear. We pack the salmon in. Try it on a jalapeño cheddar bagel.
